Galbot puts prices on the ET1 humanoid: 79,000 to 179,000 yuan

In September we noted that Galbot took 200+ pre-orders for its first bipedal humanoid, the ET1, without publishing a price. That gap is now closed: the robot is listed in three tiers at 79,000, 139,000 and 179,000 yuan — about $11,100, $19,600 and $25,200 at current rates. Those figures come from trade-press reporting of the listing; Galbot’s own product page links to a JD.com “Buy Now” page but does not print them in its text, so treat the conversions as approximate.

What the tiers buy you. Per Galbot’s product page, the ET1 stands 1,250 mm tall and weighs 32 kg with battery. The standard version has 26 degrees of freedom, stereo cameras and an RK3588 + RDK X5 controller. The professional and flagship versions add 12 degrees of freedom via dexterous hands, with compute stepping up to 40 TOPS and 100 TOPS respectively. The flagship is the one pitched at research teams and developers who want secondary development.

What it is for. Galbot positions the ET1 squarely at entertainment: theme-park interaction, storefront greeting, dance and comedy performance. It is not a warehouse or factory worker, and the price should be read that way — you are paying for a compact, expressive performer, not payload.

Where it sits. At $11,100 the entry tier is a fraction of the wheeled Galbot G1, which we track at $87,000–$96,000, and lands in the same bracket as other sub-$25k humanoids in our under-$25,000 roundup. It is a smaller, lighter machine than those workhorse platforms, so per-kilogram comparisons are not apples to apples.

Can you buy it? Not yet in the sense that matters. This is a pre-order: no delivery dates are published, and Galbot has not said what a deposit is or when units ship. We list the ET1 as pre-order with the tier range, and will update when shipping is confirmed. See more on the maker at /companies/galbot.
