Qiyuan's Q1 and T1 Put Consumer Robots at 19,999 Yuan, Shipping Now

A listed Chinese materials company is now selling small consumer robots, and the prices are low enough to matter for the entry end of the market. Swancor Advanced Materials’ consumer brand, Qiyuan Robotics, announced the Q1 and T1 on September 20. Per Chinese media coverage from mid-October, shipping began on October 1, in order of purchase.

Reported prices (China, yuan):

What you get. The Q1 is roughly 88 cm tall and 15 kg, and folds for transport. The T1 is about 100 cm and 16 kg and switches between a wheel-foot humanoid mode and a quadruped mode. Reports give no degrees of freedom or battery life, so we are not listing either.

The money signal. Swancor’s half-year report reportedly shows 210 million yuan in pre-sale advance payments. Advance payments are not revenue, and they say nothing about units actually delivered, so treat the figure as demand interest rather than proof of volume.

How it compares. The Unitree R1 is the closest reference point for a cheap humanoid-shaped product, and the Unitree Go2 is the benchmark for entry quadrupeds. The T1’s pitch is covering both form factors at one price. Whether a transforming design is as capable as either dedicated machine is unproven; no independent testing has been published that we can point to.

Our read. This is a China-market price, quoted in yuan, with no confirmed overseas sale. We have not added the Qiyuan models to the index because we have not found a manufacturer store page we can verify; they will be added once one exists. The editorial question we keep asking applies: it is on sale, but only if you are buying in China and trust the delivery queue.
