Realbotix Echo opens orders: $11,950 tabletop, $59,950 full body, delivery in 2027

Realbotix has put prices on its new Echo line, and the headline numbers come with fine print. The tabletop model is $11,950; the full-body model is $59,950. A $199 deposit reserves a unit.

What you actually pay. Both prices exclude a required AI plan. Realbotix says Echo needs one to run, starting at $19.99 a month (Base, 10 hours of use a month). Higher tiers run to $199 a month, and the optional Vinci Vision add-on is $24,950 on top and requires the $199 tier. Over five years the cheapest plan adds roughly $1,200 to the tabletop robot; the vision tier would add nearly $12,000.

What you get. The tabletop unit is about 32 inches tall and 25 lb, with 17 degrees of freedom and a silicone face. The full-body unit is 72–77 inches and about 88 lb, with 39 degrees of freedom and articulated fingers. Neither walks: these are companion and reception robots aimed at education, wellness and hospitality, not labor. Compare that to a legged platform like the Unitree G1, which costs far less than the full-body Echo and is built for research and manipulation.

Can you buy it? Not yet. Realbotix lists a limited run of 225 tabletop and 25 full-body units, all promised for 2027. That makes this a pre-order with a deposit, not a shipping product, and we list both as pre-order in the index. Specifications such as battery life are not published.

The takeaway: the sticker price is the smaller half of a companion-robot decision. Budget for the subscription, and treat a 2027 delivery date as a target until units actually ship.
