Home humanoid subscriptions: NEO breaks even in 40 months, Isaac 1 in 18
Only two home humanoids in our index publish both a purchase price and a monthly plan. Divide one by the other and the two look very different.

The arithmetic is plain: $20,000 ÷ $499 ≈ 40.1 months, and $7,999 ÷ $449 ≈ 17.8 months.
What it means. Past 18 months, a subscribed Isaac 1 costs more than owning one. A subscribed NEO doesn’t pass its purchase price until the fourth year. So the NEO subscription is the closer thing to a real rental, while the Isaac subscription mostly prices in the expectation that you will not keep paying it for long.
What the math leaves out. Neither company publishes a resale value, a warranty length after year one, or what happens to your plan if the hardware is superseded. Both are first-generation products: NEO learns household tasks partly through teleoperation, and its delivery is a pre-order promise rather than stock on a shelf (US-only, with international expansion promised from 2027). A plan that you can cancel is an option on a product that may not yet do what you want, and that option has value.
Our read. If you want to test whether a home humanoid fits your life, the NEO plan is a reasonably priced trial: roughly $6,000 for the first year. If you expect to keep the robot, the Isaac 1 purchase pays back fastest, and the NEO purchase is the better deal only if you hold it beyond three and a half years.
