Robot dog price ladder, October 2026: from $1,400 to $375,000

No big launch crossed our desk today, so here is the quadruped market as the index records it this month. Eighteen quadrupeds are tracked; one, the Deep Robotics Lynx S10, is a pre-order with no published price, and ANYmal X has none either. The rest form a ladder with three distinct rungs.
Rung 1: under $3,200 entry prices
Five models have an index floor at or below $3,200: Vbot SuperDog ($1,400 to $3,200), Unitree Go2 (from $1,600), Xiaomi CyberDog 2 ($1,800 to $3,000), Unitree AS2 ($3,100 to $4,650) and Deep Robotics Lite3 (from $2,890). Payload runs from 1 kg (CyberDog 2) to 15 kg (AS2). Note the Go2 and Lite3 ranges are wide, up to $19,430 and $18,900, because the top end is the developer or EDU configuration, not the base unit.
Rung 2: $7,680 to $100,000
The Agibot D1 Ultra sits at $7,680. Then come the work-class machines: Unitree A2 ($31,900 to $40,900, 25 kg payload), Deep Robotics Lynx M20 ($39,995 to $61,200), Deep Robotics X30 ($65,000 to $74,800, IP67) and Unitree B2 (from $76,900, 40 kg payload, IP67). All are listed as for sale.
Rung 3: the Western industrial tier
Boston Dynamics Spot ($75,000 to $375,000) and ANYmal ($150,000 to $200,000) are enterprise-only: you get a quote, not a cart. Ghost Robotics Vision 60 ($150,000 to $165,000) is not for sale to the general market. The index treats these as estimates, not offers.
What it means
Compare payload per dollar at the floor price: the B2 carries 40 kg from $76,900, while Spot carries 14 kg from $75,000. The cross-region gap is the story. For a site inspection fleet, a Chinese industrial dog costs a fraction of the Western equivalent on paper. Landed cost, support and, for US buyers, the FCC covered-list question can erase part of that gap.
