Unitree retires the H1 line: the H2 arrives at $29,900 — a third of the old flagship's price

Quietly, one of the most expensive entries in our humanoid table became a museum piece. Unitree has delisted the H1-2 — the full-size research flagship that sold for $148,235 with hands — and replaced the line with the H2, listed at $29,900.

Think about that trajectory. The original H1 launched around $90,000 and resellers quoted $100k–129k. The H1-2 pushed past $148k. The H2 now delivers a newer full-size platform for roughly a fifth of that. No other hardware category compresses prices this fast — this is the “GPU curve” of robotics happening in real time.

For buyers the practical takeaway is timing: a research lab that budgeted six figures for a full-size humanoid last year can now spec one for under $30k and spend the difference on grippers and compute. For the industry, it is another data point that Chinese makers are collapsing prices faster than Western competitors can open sales channels at all.
