The humanoid price ladder, October 2026: what each budget tier actually buys

No single launch dominated the last 48 hours, so here is a snapshot of where the market sits today. In our index, 33 humanoids have a public price and a for-sale or pre-order status. Ranked by the lowest listed price, they form a ladder with clear steps. Prices below are the low end of each listed range; the high end is usually a bigger configuration, and several ranges are wide.

Under $10,000 (5 models). The Unitree R1 starts at $4,150 and the Booster K1 at $5,999. LimX TRON 2, Weave’s Isaac 1 (pre-order) and the FF Master Mini round out the tier. These are small platforms. The K1 is 95 cm tall and the R1 is 121 cm. They are for education, research and software development, not for housework.

$10,000–$25,000 (15 models). This is the crowded middle. The Unitree G1 starts at $13,500, the 1X NEO pre-order at $20,000, and the AgiBot X2 sits at $24,240. Heights run from about 125 cm to 183 cm. Sticker prices here are entry configurations: the G1 range runs up to $73,900 in our data, so check which version a price refers to.

$25,000–$50,000 (8 models). Full-size platforms begin here, such as the EngineAI T800 from $25,000 and the Unitree H2 from $29,900. Both have much higher top-end prices, up to $80,800 and $100,000 respectively, so the entry price is the floor, not a typical quote.

$50,000 and up (5 models). The tier runs from $65,000 to $100,000 at the low end, including the Galbot G1 at $87,000–$96,000. Spend like this is for institutions and integrators.

How to read the ladder

Two things stand out. First, 25 of the 33 priced models are Chinese and every one under $20,000 except Weave’s pre-order and the FF Master Mini comes from China, which is why sourcing direct matters. Second, the other half of the market is missing from this list altogether: Tesla Optimus, Figure and Boston Dynamics Atlas have no public price and are not listed as purchasable. Announced targets are not prices, and we don’t count them.

The practical advice is the same as always: decide what you need the robot to do, find the tier that matches, and ask what the listed price actually includes, whether that is the base unit, the SDK, the dexterous hands, or shipping and duties. Our price guide breaks down those add-ons in detail.
