What Do Quote-Only Humanoids Cost? Figure, Apollo, Digit and Fourier Compared

Search for “how much does a Figure humanoid cost” and you will find confident numbers: $20,000, $50,000, $130,000, $250,000. Almost none of them is a price. This guide sorts the humanoids that cannot be bought at a checkout into three kinds of number — targets, estimates and disclosed economics — so you can tell which figure to put in a budget. The robots with a real store price are covered in How Much Does a Humanoid Robot Cost? and Humanoid Robots for Sale.

The short version

Robot Status What the evidence supports
Figure 03 Enterprise-only, no price No price. $20,000 is a stated consumer target
Figure 02 Enterprise-only, no price No MSRP. ~$130,000 is a press estimate of pilot cost
Apptronik Apollo Enterprise pilots, quote basis No price. ~$50,000 is a 2023 long-term cost target
Agility Digit v5 Early access H1 2027 Filed illustrative economics: ~$200,000 or $8,500/month
Agility Digit (shipping) Robots-as-a-service ~$100,000/year modeled; ~$250,000 outright is an upper bound
Fourier GR-2 Enterprise-only $125,000–$150,000+ estimate, not published
Fourier GR-1 Quote-only to institutions $150,000–$170,000 reported unit-cost estimates

Kind 1: targets are not prices

A target is what a company hopes a robot will cost at volume. It says nothing about what the first buyer pays.

Figure 03. Figure has publicly talked about a consumer-scale future, and the $20,000 number circulates widely. But there is no pre-order page, no retail channel and no configurator; units go to internal programs and partner deployments such as the BMW plant in Spartanburg. Treat $20,000 as a mission statement. For the index, Figure 03 has no price, and we do not invent one.

Apptronik Apollo. The ~$50,000 figure traces back to a long-term at-scale cost goal stated by the CEO in 2023, around the time of the official unveiling. Apollo is deployed through enterprise pilots (Mercedes-Benz, GXO, Jabil) on a quote basis. A cost goal is also not a selling price: the seller’s margin sits on top of it.

Kind 2: estimates are only as good as their source

Figure 02 at ~$130,000. Press reports have floated per-unit figures around this level as the cost of pilot units. Figure never published an MSRP. It is a plausible order of magnitude for an early low-volume humanoid, and nothing more.

Fourier GR-1 and GR-2. Fourier sells the GR series by quote to research institutions and industrial partners. Reported mass-production unit costs of $150,000–$170,000 for the GR-1 and estimates of $125,000–$150,000+ for the GR-2 have appeared in the trade press, but neither is an official price list. The GR-2 has no North American channel, so a US buyer also faces import, service and support questions the sticker would not cover. Fourier’s newer GR-3 care robot is a different story: channel prices there start above ¥200,000 (about $27,500) but diverge widely by configuration.

Kind 3: disclosed economics are the best evidence — and still not a price list

Agility Robotics is the exception, and only because of a regulatory filing. In its Form S-4 for the planned merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI (filed 4 September 2026), Agility disclosed illustrative unit economics for Digit v5:

The last bullet is the most useful number in the whole category: it tells you the seller’s cost, and implies that anything a vendor charges today either loses money or carries a very large margin. Note the timeline too — early access starts in the first half of 2027 and general availability by the end of 2027. The only Digit anyone can contract for today is the earlier version, which is why our entry for the shipping Digit carries a wide $100,000–$250,000 band and an explicit note that it is not a sticker price.

How to budget for a quote-only humanoid

  1. Use the three-year total, not the purchase price. Agility’s own numbers show why: $200,000 upfront plus $36,000 a year of software and maintenance reaches roughly $308,000 plus deployment over three years. Our running-cost guide breaks the recurring lines down.
  2. Compare rent versus buy. At $8,500 a month, RaaS passes the $200,000 purchase price after about 24 months (before the $36,000-a-year software and maintenance that the buy option adds). See robot rental and subscription cost.
  3. Assume pilots are not production pricing. Early customers typically fund development. A price quoted for a pilot may not hold for the second order.
  4. Ask what is in the number: hardware only, software license, workcell integration, safety assessment, spares, support hours.
  5. Check whether a cheaper robot does the job. If you need a research platform rather than a warehouse worker, humanoids with real store prices start near $4,000–$6,000; see humanoids under $30,000.

What would change this picture

Three things would turn these estimates into prices: a published rate card (none of Figure, Apptronik or Fourier has issued one), a public pre-order with a deposit, or another regulatory filing. Agility’s S-4 is the template — companies that go public, or raise through registered offerings, have to disclose economics they would otherwise keep private. We re-check these entries twice a month and will update the table when a primary source appears.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Figure 03 cost?

Figure has not published a price. The widely quoted $20,000 is a stated target, not an offer, and the robot is not sold at retail.

How much does the Apptronik Apollo cost?

There is no public price. Apollo is available only through enterprise pilot agreements on a quote basis; the ~$50,000 figure is a long-term cost goal from 2023.

What is the real price of Agility Digit?

Agility’s SEC filing shows illustrative economics for Digit v5 of about $200,000 outright or $8,500 per month as a service, plus deployment fees. General availability is planned by the end of 2027.

Can I buy a Fourier GR-2 in the US?

Fourier sells the GR-2 only to enterprise customers by quote, and the index records no North American channel. The $125,000–$150,000+ range is an estimate, not an official price.
