Unitree Robot Price Guide 2026: Every Model, $3,100 to $296,000

Unitree Robotics is the only company in our index that sells across four robot categories at once — humanoids, quadrupeds and a manipulator arm — and it does so with prices that swing from $3,100 to $296,000. That is not a typo and it is not one machine with options; it is 12 distinct for-sale products, each with its own configuration tree, and none of them share a single “Unitree price.” Since the company’s August 2026 Shanghai IPO put its pricing strategy under a research-analyst microscope, “how much does a Unitree robot cost” has become one of the most searched — and most sloppily answered — questions in robotics. Here is the sourced version, model by model.

The short answer: every priced Unitree robot

Model Category Price range (USD) Availability
Unitree As2 Quadruped $3,100–4,650 For sale
Unitree R1 Humanoid $4,150–5,900 For sale
Unitree Go2 Quadruped $1,600–19,430 For sale
Unitree G1 Humanoid $13,500–73,900 For sale
Unitree G1+ Humanoid $15,000 For sale
Unitree Z1 Industrial arm $15,999 For sale
Unitree Go2-W Quadruped $13,000–32,299 For sale
Unitree H2 Humanoid $29,900–100,000 For sale
Unitree A2 Quadruped $31,900–40,900 For sale
Unitree B2-W Quadruped $88,900–100,000 For sale
Unitree H1 Humanoid $90,000–148,235 For sale
Unitree B2 Quadruped $76,900–296,355 For sale

All figures as of September 2026. Every row is on open sale — Unitree does not currently list a not-for-sale product with a public price, and its one disclosed prototype (a bipedal locomotion demo called Superman) carries no price at all.

Three price tiers, not one company

Consumer, $1,600–19,430. The Go2 Air ($1,600) is the cheapest thing Unitree sells; the As2 Air ($3,100) and R1 ($4,150–5,900) sit just above it. These are finished, walking or standing products a hobbyist can order without a sales call. The Go2’s own configuration spread — Air to top EDU build — runs $1,600 to $19,430, a 12× range inside one product name, which alone should end any sentence that starts “a Unitree robot costs.”

Prosumer and light-industrial, $13,000–41,000. G1 ($13,500 base), G1+ ($15,000), Z1 arm ($15,999), Go2-W wheeled quadruped ($13,000–32,299) and the A2 “Stellar Explorer” ($31,900–40,900) live here. Most are programmable out of the box or in an EDU tier, and most are things a university lab or small integrator buys directly rather than through a quote.

Industrial and enterprise, $76,900–296,355. H2 ($29,900–100,000), B2-W ($88,900–100,000), H1 ($90,000–148,235) and B2 ($76,900–296,355) round out the top. Unitree’s own store often shows a $100,000 “contact sales” placeholder for these rather than a checkout price — a detail worth flagging on its own.

The placeholder problem: $100,000 is not always a real price

Three products in this list — B2, B2-W and A2 — show a flat $100,000 figure or “contact sales” on Unitree’s own site rather than a live checkout price. For B2-W, that placeholder happens to match US reseller pricing closely. For B2, US resellers list the base industrial configuration far lower, from $76,900, while specialty resellers have quoted fully configured units (LiDAR, extra sensors, autonomy software) as high as roughly $296,000 — meaning the manufacturer’s own placeholder sits in the middle of the real market range, not at either end. Treat any Unitree page reading “$100,000” as a prompt to request a quote, not as the price you will pay.

Model by model

Unitree Go2 — $1,600 to $19,430

Consumer entry point and configuration case study in one. Official retail by version: Air $1,600, Pro $2,800, Go2 X $4,500; EDU Standard $11,190, EDU Plus $13,205, top EDU builds up to $19,430. Unitree cut prices across the Go2 line in 2026 ahead of its IPO. See it against the industry’s most famous quadruped in Go2 vs Boston Dynamics Spot.

Unitree R1 — $4,150 to $5,900

The cheapest full bipedal humanoid on open sale anywhere. Unitree cut the China-market starting price from 39,900 to 29,900 CNY (about $4,150) in June 2026 with immediate in-stock delivery; global AliExpress retail runs $4,900 (R1 AIR) to $5,900 (R1), with US-fulfilled listings priced higher still. There is no SDK on the base R1 or R1 AIR — an EDU version adds unitree_sdk2 for anyone who needs to actually program it. Compared against Unitree’s own flagship in R1 vs G1.

Unitree G1 and G1+ — $13,500 to $73,900

The G1 is Unitree’s best-known humanoid: $13,500 for the base 23-DoF configuration, with EDU variants through US resellers running $43,900–73,900 across a dozen configurations. The newer G1+ adds two degrees of freedom (25 DoF total) and lists at a flat $15,000 in the US store — while the original G1 stays on sale unchanged. Chinese domestic pricing for the G1+ has been reported at roughly $13,300, undercutting the US list price, which is a recurring pattern across the lineup: expect a China-vs-export gap on nearly everything Unitree sells.

Unitree H1 and H2 — $29,900 to $148,235

H2 replaced H1 as Unitree’s flagship humanoid in 2026 at a far lower entry price: $29,900 on the manufacturer’s international store (out of stock as of mid-2026), $40,900 through US resellers, $68,900 for the EDU edition, and up to roughly $100,000 for the H2 Plus variant reported in press coverage. H1 remains listed at $90,000 in Unitree’s store under a “contact us for real price” notice, with resellers quoting $100,000–129,000; the hands-equipped H1-2 sold for $148,235 before being delisted in 2026 as H2 took over the line. Both machines side by side in H2 vs H1 and H2 vs G1.

Unitree Z1 — $15,999

Unitree’s only industrial arm: listed and marked ready to ship at $15,999 on the official store, plus a stated $1,000-per-unit shipping charge. The higher-payload Z1 Pro variant is backordered with no separate published price. A 6-DoF arm at this price point competes directly with hobbyist and small-integrator arms rather than factory-floor cobots — see Industrial Robot Arm Cost for how it stacks against that broader field.

Unitree A2, As2, Go2-W and B2-W — $3,100 to $100,000

The rest of the quadruped range fills in gaps around Go2 and B2. As2 is the new budget entrant: Air at $3,100, Pro at $4,650, both priced at checkout on Unitree’s own store (an EDU tier carries the same non-price $100,000 placeholder and is excluded from this range). A2 “Stellar Explorer” has no manufacturer price at all — Standard and Pro list at $31,900 and $40,900 through US resellers, both currently out of stock. Go2-W, the wheeled Go2 variant, isn’t sold on Unitree’s own consumer store either; reseller and distributor pricing runs $13,000–32,299 depending on sensor and compute bundle. B2-W, the wheeled industrial platform, does appear in Unitree’s own store at the $100,000 placeholder, with US sale listings starting around $88,900 and European distributor pricing lower still, from about €58,800 before options.

What this means for a buyer

Two practical takeaways survive contact with all twelve price ranges. First, a bare model name is not a specification — “Unitree G1” alone spans a 5.5× price range depending on configuration, and that pattern repeats across every product line the company sells. Get the exact SKU and configuration before comparing any number. Second, the manufacturer’s own store is not always the cheapest or even the only channel: R1 is cheaper in Chinese domestic retail than on AliExpress, G1+ is cheaper in China than in the US store, and B2’s real market floor sits well below Unitree’s own placeholder figure. If you’re sourcing at volume rather than buying one unit off a store page, our sourcing desk can run a direct factory quote instead of relying on any single listed price.

FAQ

How much does a Unitree robot cost?

It depends entirely on which of the twelve current products and which configuration. Prices span $1,600 (Go2 Air) to $296,355 (a fully configured B2), with three rough tiers: consumer ($1,600–19,430), prosumer/light-industrial ($13,000–41,000) and industrial/enterprise ($76,900–296,355).

Which Unitree robot is cheapest?

The Go2 Air quadruped at $1,600 is the cheapest Unitree product with a public price. Among humanoids, the R1 starts at $4,150 in China and $4,900–5,900 through global retail — the cheapest bipedal humanoid on open sale from any maker we track.

Is Unitree’s own store price always the real price?

No. Several products (B2, B2-W, A2, the R1 EDU and As2 EDU tiers) show a $100,000 “contact sales” placeholder rather than a checkout price, and even where a price is listed, Chinese domestic retail is sometimes cheaper than the export or US-store price for the same model.

Why did Unitree cut prices in 2026?

Public reporting ties the Go2 and R1 price cuts to the run-up to Unitree’s August 2026 Shanghai STAR Market IPO, alongside falling component and manufacturing costs across China’s humanoid supply chain. Unitree has not published a single official explanation covering every cut.

Does a lower Unitree price mean lower quality?

Not necessarily, but it usually means fewer degrees of freedom, no SDK access, or excluded compute and sensors rather than a discount on the same hardware. Compare the exact configuration — DoF, payload, SDK, battery life — before assuming a cheaper listing is simply a better deal.
